A free little program that renders wood textures. I've used it for floors, walls, tables and the like...and I've just spent time futzing and making really wild and crazy ones too. What's really cool is you can determine what size to render, and it will put it in tile format for you....which is perfect for taking into Photoshop or PSP to add to a texture map.
Wood patterns are all preset, you just choose one, fiddle with the settings to change things around if you like, render it, export the image and your good to go. You can also save your creations within the program to use again if you loose the image export.
